NIK's Journey and Vision for the Future

An exhibition that once paused has been revived by your voices, and now moves toward a new stage of multicultural coexistence. We introduce our journey and vision for the future.

2016

The Beginning

As part of the Osaka Special Needs Education Promotion Foundation's training program, we held our first 'Teaching Materials Exhibition for Children with Disabilities.' This is where our activities began.

NIK Research Group Established

After a hiatus following the foundation's dissolution, we received strong requests from teachers and parents to 'see the teaching materials again.' We established the 'NIK Teaching Materials Research Group' and resumed the exhibition with passion.

2025

Inclusive Teaching Materials Exhibition

We renamed the event to become an 'open exhibition' accessible to everyone, not just educators. With over 30 exhibiting companies, we grew into a venue offering more diverse learning options.

Evolution to Multicultural Coexistence

Going beyond traditional frameworks, we now include 'people with foreign roots' as our target audience. We aim to create a space that realizes true 'inclusive society' beyond language and cultural barriers.

OUR LOGO

The Meaning Behind the NIK Logo

The central symbol is a 'four-leaf clover' formed by combining 'four different pieces'.

By combining different shapes (individualities) and expertise, 'new value' is born that could not be created alone. This co-creation and inclusion is the very spirit of our activities.

A symbol of happiness that appears when four pieces come together. It contains our wish that children feel the joy of learning through our materials.
