A Learning Environment for Every Child.

The Essence and Practice of Inclusive Education

Creating an educational environment where differences are respected and everyone grows together. Start here with knowledge and teaching materials you can use in the field.

WHAT IS INCLUSIVE

What is Inclusive Education

Respect for Diversity

Recognizing each child's 'differences' in developmental characteristics, disabilities, and cultural backgrounds, and providing learning opportunities suited to each individual.

Realizing Full Participation

Rather than separating children who need special support, we aim to create an environment where everyone learns together in the same space and supports each other.

Fostering Social Skills

Cultivating understanding, cooperation, and compassion—the foundation of an inclusive society—through daily lessons and interactions.

VALUE

Value in Educational Settings

Improving Lesson Quality

Teaching materials and methods that respond to individual needs ultimately enhance understanding and learning motivation across the entire class.

Reducing Teacher Burden

Using appropriate teaching aids and support tools makes individual support more efficient and classroom management smoother.

Building Trust with Parents

An attitude that understands and respects children's characteristics deepens dialogue with parents and strengthens cooperation.

HOW TO TEACH

How to Communicate with Children

How can we convey the concept of inclusivity to children?

1. Make 'Differences' Natural

Repeatedly demonstrate through daily words and activities that 'everyone is different, and that's normal.' The first step is to treat differences naturally without making them special.

2. Teach Through Concrete Examples

Through specific examples like 'This person writes more easily using this tool' or 'This method is clearer for this student,' convey that 'everyone has their own suitable methods.'

3. Gain Experience Cooperating

Deliberately create opportunities for mutual support through pair learning and group activities. Be mindful that helping-being helped relationships don't become fixed.

4. Put Feelings into Words

Create an atmosphere where children can express their feelings and difficulties, with prompts like 'It's okay to speak up when you're struggling' or 'How did that make you feel?'

What You Can Do at the Exhibition
